Attachment DVD
In producing this video, four families expecting their first child agreed to be interviewed during pregnancy and again during their baby's first year. They talked about what the process of helping their baby build a secure attachment was really like for them. We also gave them DVD cameras to take home, so that they could document their normal daily interactions with their child. This helped us capture what made the individual babies, their parents, their extended families, and their home environments different and special. Despite these differences, the interviews and home footage show us that the important process of building a secure attachment is very much the same across families.
